SATURDAY, JUNE 2, 2012
1. Youth must be at least age 10 and no older than 15 by day of event.
2. All equipment will be supplied; this includes firearms, fishing gear, ammunition, targets, etc. No outside guns or ammunition will be permitted. There will be no charges for any activity, food, or beverage.
3. All youth must be pre-registered. Registration for the event will be on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit of 200 registrants. The registration/release from liability form must be returned to Lancaster County Sportsmen for Youth, PO Box 44, Elizabethtown, PA 17022-004, prior to May 26, 2012.
4. All youths attending must sign in at Southern Lancaster County Farmers Sportsmens Association, prior to 7:45 am on Saturday, June 2, 2012, before participating in the event. Participation in any given activity is optional, not mandatory.
5. All activities will be completed by 5:15 pm.
6. Lunch will be provided for both youth and any adult accompanying youth.
7. An adult guide will accompany each group during events. All youths must stay in their original group for safety reasons.
8. Each activity will have its own staff member to welcome and instruct the youths. After a brief orientation each youth will be invited to participate in the activity. NO ADULTS MAY PARTICIPATE.
9. For emergencies the day of the event: Event coordinators may be reached by calling (717) 283-9198.
10. The goal of our Youth Field Day is to have fun while learning outdoor activities. For safety reasons no reckless or careless conduct will be tolerated!! Any person who participates in this type of conduct will be asked to leave.
11. All events will be supervised and coached by members of Lancaster County Sportsmen for Youth. All events will be conducted using one on one coaching and range control officers. Every precaution for saftey will be taken.
12. Eye and ear protection will be provided to all participants and will be mandatory while shooting.
13. The Youth Field Day event will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 rain or shine.
